Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
The short version
Your PDF files are processed entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. They are never uploaded, never transmitted, and never seen by us. We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and will display Google AdSense ads. That's the extent of our data collection.
1. Who we are
FixMyPDF.tech ("we", "us", "our") is a free, browser-based PDF toolkit available at https://fixmypdf.tech. It is operated as an independent web service. Our contact email is nagenthirannagarajh@gmail.com.
2. Your files
This is the most important section of this policy.
Every operation on FixMyPDF.tech — compressing, merging, splitting, rotating, watermarking, signing, redacting, or any other tool — is performed entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib, PDF.js, Tesseract.js, etc.).
Your PDF files are:
- Never uploaded to our servers
- Never transmitted over the internet during processing
- Never stored in any database, cloud service, or file system we operate
- Never seen, read, or analysed by us or any third party we work with
Once you close the browser tab, any file data held in your browser's memory is released. We have no copy. We have no access.
3. Data we collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name or email address to use any tool.
Through Google Analytics 4 we collect aggregated, anonymised usage data, including:
- Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
- Which tools you use (page view events)
- General geographic region (country / city level — not precise location)
- Browser type, operating system, and device category
- How you arrived at the site (search engine, direct, referral)
This data is processed by Google LLC under their own privacy policy. We use it solely to understand which tools are most useful and to improve the site. We do not use it to identify individual users.
5. Third-party services
The following third-party services are loaded as part of the site. Each may process your IP address and browser metadata as a result of serving files to you.
Google Analytics 4

Tailwind CSS CDN
Serves the CSS framework used for styling. Operated by Tailwind Labs. Your IP address may be logged as part of CDN request processing.
6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we do not collect personally identifiable information directly, there is very little personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. However, depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights in relation to the data processed by our third-party services:
- Access — request a copy of personal data held about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Opt-out of sale — California residents: we do not sell personal data
To exercise rights related to Google's data collection, visit Google Account or contact Google directly. To contact us regarding any privacy concern, email nagenthirannagarajh@gmail.com.
7. Children's privacy
FixMyPDF.tech is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
8. Data security
Since your files never leave your device, the primary security boundary is your own browser and device. We strongly recommend:
- Using an up-to-date browser with security patches applied
- Not using shared or public computers to process sensitive documents
- Clearing your downloads folder after saving processed PDFs if working on a shared device
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of FixMyPDF.tech after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
